Looking to buy a golf simulator?
It’s a HUGE purchase. So as well as knowing which simulator to buy (we’ve got you covered for that in our guide to the best golf simulators this year) deciding where to buy it is also a big consideration.
The good news?
We’ve referred over $1.5M in golf simulator sales over the past 4 years. And we’ve worked directly with each of the retailers below, had numerous conversations with their teams, and are happy to recommend them for your golf simulator purchase.
Which means you can buy with confidence from any of these retailers.
1. Carl’s Place
Finally, we have the somewhat quirkily named Carl’s Place.
But don’t let the name fool you. Carl’s Place (founded by, you guessed it, Carl) makes some of the highest quality custom golf simulator enclosures on the planet.
And if you don’t mind a bit of DIY you’ll be able to pick up an enclosure from Carl’s Place, that’s similar (or even better) quality than SIG/SwingBay for an attractive price.
They also supply launch monitors from SkyTrak, Foresight, Uneekor, and Garmin, so you’ll be able to get everything you need for your golf simulator.
We’d recommend using their custom package tool, where you’ll be able to basically build your own simulator package from scratch; picking everything from the launch monitor, to the enclosure, impact screen, nets, and even ball holders.
If you want a fully customizable golf simulator setup, then Carl’s Place is probably where we’d be heading to buy it.

2. The Indoor Golf Shop
If you’ve been searching for a golf simulator, you’ve probably already come across The Indoor Golf Shop (aka Shop Indoor Golf). They’re probably the biggest independent golf simulator retailer/specialist, and have previously been ranked 400 on the Inc 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in America.
The Indoor Golf Shop is based in Celina, Texas, where they have a showroom and warehouse, but they ship their golf simulators right across the USA.
Like Rain or Shine Golf, you’ll find all the top brands of launch monitors, including Foresight, SkyTrak, FlightScope, Uneekor and more, and a range of high quality enclosures, nets, mats, and other indoor golf products.
Their flagship product is the SIG series of enclosures, which comes in a range of sizes and is available in a package deal with most simulators/launch monitors.
Free shipping, price matching, easy returns, an expert team, and some of the best enclosures and mats in the business, make The Indoor Golf Shop a great place to buy your golf simulator.
3. Top Shelf Golf
Top Shelf Golf aren’t as well known as Rain or Shine Golf and The Indoor Golf Shop.
But they have a similar range of products, and in fact in most cases are coming in a fair bit cheaper.
Like ROS and SIG, they also have their own range of enclosures, which they brand as ‘PerfectBay’ and normally a PerfectBay package will be around $1,000 cheaper than the equivalent simulator package with a SIG or SwingBay enclosure.
But you do get what you pay for of course, and we’d class the SIG/SwingBay enclosures as ‘premium’, while PerfectBay is more at the affordable end. Although it’s still a good level up from the mass-market enclosures you’ll find on Amazon
They stock most of their products, but some items (including certain launch monitors) will ship directly from the manufacturer.
If you’re looking to buy an affordable golf simulator, Top Shelf Golf is a solid choice.
4. Rain or Shine Golf
Based in Charlotte, NC, Rain or Shine Golf are one of the fastest growing specialist retailers of golf simulators and launch monitors.
Their motto is ‘tee it up anytime, rain or shine’ and as well as simulators they also sell pretty much everything you need for indoor golf; from hitting mats and nets, to putting greens, and even putting simulators.
Unlike some third-party retailers, Rain or Shine Golf stock all the products they sell on their website (even the premium launch monitors) and ship them out directly across the USA. And their signature SwingBay enclosure — which is available in a simulator package with most launch monitors — is one of the best in the business.
We’ve spoken with the founder Shawn, and were impressed with his passion for the golf industry, his mission to match golfers up with their perfect indoor golf experience, and the way he and the team have built up Rain or Shine to be one of the leading players in the golf simulator market over the past few years.
We highly recommend Rain or Shine golf for buying your golf simulator.

5. SkyTrak Golf
SkyTrak Golf make the world’s best selling home launch monitors and golf simulators; the original SkyTrak and the new SkyTrak+.
And not only do they supply their sims to third-party retailers, they also sell them directly on their website.
In fact, if you’re looking for a SkyTrak simulator, then the best deal you’ll find right now is their Studio Pro setup (pictured), which is available with the original SkyTrak for $5,995, and the new SkyTrak+ for $6,995.
