How To Turn Your Hips Correctly In The Golf Swing

We all know how important the hips are to powering the golf swing. But if you’re anything like me, you’ve never quite figured out how to move (or turn) them correctly.

I came across this great video from Monte Scheinblum, which explains exactly how the hips should move on the backswing and downswing and why.

Aside from the explanation of how they should turn (on an angle) I like the feel of getting your right hip as far away from the ball as possible on the backswing, and the left hip as far away from the ball as possible on the downswing.

If your hips are currently rotating too flat, then give this one a try.
